I is for Igor!

Igor (or as I call him Iggy or Ignatz!) is a Chinese Crested who lives in New Orleans, LA with his humans. His humans are my nephew and niece-in-law.

As we all know these little guys are follically challenged, so Iggy has an 'au naturel' look - a mowhawk, little hairy socks and tail, the rest of him - yep! Naked

Iggy, is quite a sharp dresser, because the ladies do love a sharp dressed pup

Igor was so proud to congratulate his dad for winning one of the Big Easy 2012 awards with his friends and band-mates for their band 'hharp'. Ig gave the award his own little lick of approval.

Being the little party dog  he is, he has quite a little collection of party duds. Halloween is a particular favorite time to dress up, as is Mardi Gras.

Ig is a long time, hardcore Saints football team fan. When the Saints were vying for the superbowl championship Iggy could barely watch the screen he was so excited

When the Saints won the coveted Superbowl rings, Iggy, so overcome with emotion, swooned.

Iggy loves being an only dog. He has a whole sunroom and sofa just for himself. No need to share with anyone else. All the kibbles are his. As are the bits. The bones, the loveys and the attention from mom and dad. (And Nanny V too!)

.
But, then, one day, mom and dad brought home a hairball with feet. It answers to the name Arch. Iggy decided that he had a headache and went to bed. He would deal with that hairball tomorrow!

So, I is for Igor, the ideal dog - hairless division.

Join us at Alphabe=Thursday, link at right, you will meet lots of interesting people who share a bit of their world with others using the alphabet as a starting point. Great fun.

  3. FABULOUS!!! We always dressed our dogs up for Mardi Gras. Our daughter lives in NOLA, and has for over 30 years. It is one of our favorite cities. We are Saints and Tigers fans!

I love Iggy's great hairstyle, and that tie is to die for!!

  8. I like your nephew's Iggy. He is a handsome dude!

It seems he acted about like our Adi did when we brought Katrin, the toy poodle, home. Did he pretty well ignore the other dog and brush it out of the way so as to still be first at the feed bowl, etc?

I took Katrin to be clipped and groomed a couple of hours ago. Adi, the beagle dog, I can bath and let the vet trim her nails.
