what happened to Mary Englebreit's Home Companion magazine. I love it so much, even more than Cloth Paper and Scissors. But, suddenly, one day, -pfffft! No more. I really wish it would come back.
Verna, your query sent me searching and guess what? Mary had to be carted to the hospital via ambulance and good looking EMT guys, she said:) Some serious form of pneumonia. Anyway, I was reading her blog and here's the sept. 22 post: http://www.maryengelbreit.com/archives/2427 in it she mentions that the magazine is no more... Apparently, a combinatino of things: a reflections of the economy and just the fact that she's tired:) Very enlightening read.....
