Time to Test the TaTas

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This last spring a dear, sweet and very young woman,  passed away after a brave and valiant fight against this horrible disease.   She was 32 and the mother of a small boy.  She missed his first day of school. She will miss his triumphs and his tears, his laugh and his wonder at all the things he still has to experience in life. Most of all he will miss his Mommy.   Sweet Bridget, I hope that you know that there are many people who think of you and are watching over your little guy.

If you haven't already, please make an appointment to have your mammogram done.

  1. My heart aches for all of the "missed" experiences of life that cancer angels and their families must endure. I get my mammos every year for this very reason. Thanks for the reminder!

  2. I dislike hating these things but they happen more often than it should. I hope all the research and such is doing something about it.

hope you have a good day.
