ever seen. And, I still do,
If I were having a wedding or anniversary cake, this is what it would look like.
The cherries and leaves are made of marzipan. I can't even begin to imagine the skill that goes into making these beautiful little pieces of fruit. Or being able to apply a layer of fondant so smoothly. (Hah! I can't even make a cake from a boxed mix!!)
My future DIL makes the most delicious and beautiful cakes. One that she makes is a blackberry jam cake. I am hoping that part of their wedding cake will include this delicious choice. I know that he rmom and her grandmother both had that as part of their wedding cakes. I think it would be so lovely for S and E to continue to tradition!
Obviously, the next year is filled with wedding talk, thoughts, choices, decisions. So, I think that perhaps there may be many wedding themed choices for Alphabe-Thursday!
