Friday (an hour early) Freebie
Today I received a package of RPPC (real photo post cards)which were quite popular during the late 1800's into the early 20th century - when people wrote letters to communicate! I got this group of cards from FrenchKissed's Ruby Lane site. There is an unbelievable selection of antique postcards there for anyone interested in finding something unique.
Today's photo is of a beautiful little baby (I am a pushover for antique photos of children dressed in white!). Baby does not have an identifying name but it is noted that he/she (?) is 3 months old. The card was originally sent to Grandma and Grandpa. I think they must have been quite pleased with this little one!

Verna, I like your comment about "he/she" -- it is interesting how little boys were dressed as girls for ages and ages. Then virtually overnight, I think it was something like the span of one decade, fashion dictates changed dramatically and the great "divide" of pants for boys/dresses for girls was created. Now, so many of us women prefer our jeans, I guess it's swinging the other way:)
