Rose Garden

Trying to catch up on my nature journal pages for the swap I am in. I wasn't finding any inspirations - but then! I found a photo at FrenchKissed, a shop on Etsy. And, it just clicked! I adore roses. Used to have quite a beautiful garden of them in NY. But, in VA black spot and powderey mildew are about all I seemed to be able to grow (I don't use any kinds of pesticides, insecticides, etc. I only use lady bugs and preying mantis' in my yard.) So, I gave up on roses and have gone the daylily and hosta route now. But, those roses, they still hold a place in my heart.

So, I made a new page - The front is for the rose garden. And, the back is just because I think it is cute. I wanted to put a little quote on the back by the frogs - "Sometimes, you are better off with the frog", BUT, my husband kind of croaked when I mentioned it to him. (hahahaha! I crack me up.)

Anyway, here is the latest.
